Choosing Your Audience Method (Pre-made, Keyword, Custom)

3.1 Choosing Your Audience Method (Pre-made, Keyword, Custom)

When you create a new audience list, the first decision is your audience method. Better Leads offers three ways to build:

Pre-made
Pre-made audiences are ready-built for common niches — roofing, solar, insurance, real estate, home services, and more. Each pre-made audience comes with the relevant filters and intent signals already set. This is the fastest way to get started, especially if you are targeting a well-defined vertical.

Within each niche, narrower sub-audiences are available if you want to target a more specific segment within that category.

Keyword
Keyword audiences let you define your own intent focus by entering the topics or search terms that describe what your ideal audience is researching. Better Leads uses those keywords to find people actively looking into those subjects right now.

Custom
Custom models let you build a highly specific audience around a single topic and intent, using an AI model trained on real web content. This is for niche targeting that a pre-made audience or a keyword search can't reach — when your ideal buyer is defined by something more precise than a broad category.
