10.1 My Pixel Is Installed But I’m Not Seeing Data

This is the most common issue after a new install. In most cases it comes down to one of four things: the script isn’t in the right place, the site isn’t meeting the technical requirements, the pixel hasn’t had enough time to fire, or the account isn’t yet on a Pixel Credits tier.

Work through these checks in order before contacting support.

Check 1: Do you have an active Pixel Credits tier?
Pixel Launch opens your account and provisions your pixel slots. It does not include starter resolutions. If you haven’t purchased a Pixel Credits tier, the pixel has nowhere to send data. Go to Settings → Usage and confirm you have an active credits plan.

Check 2: Is the script installed in the correct location?
The script must be placed inside the <head> tag — before the closing </head> tag — on every page you want to track. A script placed in the <body> or footer may not fire correctly.

Check 3: Is the script published live on your site?
Saving a change in your CMS or website builder is not always the same as publishing it. Make sure your changes are live and accessible to external visitors — not just in preview or draft mode.

Check 4: Does your site meet the technical requirements?

  • Your site must run on https — not http

  • The script must be installed on the root domain — not a subdomain

  • Both conditions must be true for the pixel to resolve visitors

Check 5: Have you visited the site after installing?
The pixel doesn’t generate data retroactively. After install, visit your website from a browser to trigger the pixel. Return to your dashboard and check the Pixel section. It should show the pixel as active.

Check 6: Has enough time passed?
Resolution data refreshes every 5–10 minutes. If you just installed the pixel and triggered a visit, give it a few minutes before checking the dashboard.

Check 7: Is the pixel showing as inactive in the dashboard?
Go to Integrations → Pixel and check the status of your pixel. If it shows as inactive after completing all the checks above, contact BetterMarketers support.

If you have worked through all seven checks and the pixel is still not producing data, contact BetterMarketers support at https://help.bettermarketers.com/support/tickets/new — provide the domain the pixel is installed on, the steps you have already tried, and a screenshot of the pixel status in your dashboard.
