Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Resolution?

A Resolution is a contact record created when Better Pixel identifies an anonymous visitor to your website. It contains personal, professional, and behavioral data about that visitor. One credit is used per Resolution.

Does every visitor to my site become a Resolution?

No. The pixel resolves a share of your traffic. The rest remain anonymous. This is expected behavior — not a fault or error.

What data does a Resolution contain?

A Resolution can include personal identity, contact details, consumer profile data, professional and company information, behavioral visit data, social profiles, and skills and interests. Not every field will be populated on every record.

What are the DNC flags in a resolution record?

DNC stands for Do Not Call. The landline DNC and mobile DNC fields indicate whether a number appears on a Do Not Call list. Always check these before making outreach calls or texts. See Section 9 for compliance guidance.

Does Better Pixel resolve both consumer and business visitors?

Yes. A single record may contain both personal contact data and professional/company data depending on the visitor.

How many credits does one Resolution use?

One. One credit spent equals one Resolution created.

What happens when my credits run out?

Resolution collection stops for the remainder of your billing cycle. There are no overage charges. Credits reset at the start of your next cycle, or you can upgrade your tier to add capacity sooner.

How often does resolution data refresh in my dashboard?

Every 5–10 minutes. New resolutions appear shortly after a visitor is identified.

How long can I see resolutions in my dashboard?

Your dashboard shows a rolling 30-day view. To keep resolutions beyond 30 days, export them via CSV, set up a webhook, or sync to Google Sheets.

What’s the best way to retain my resolution data long term?

A webhook or Google Sheets sync is the most reliable method — both capture resolutions automatically as they come in. A manual CSV export also works but requires you to download regularly before data rolls off the 30-day window.

What’s the difference between Better Pixel and Better Leads?

Better Pixel identifies visitors who are already on your website. Better Leads lets you build targeted lists of people to go find. They serve different purposes and can run on the same account.
