My Sync Isn't Updating
10.5 My Sync Isn't Updating
If your Google Sheets or Facebook Ads sync has stopped updating or is not reflecting your latest audience data, work through the steps below.

Step 1 — Check the Status column.
Go to Sync in your left navigation and find the sync in question. Check the Status column — if it shows an error or a warning, that is the starting point.

Step 2 — Check the Last Sync and Next Sync columns.
If the sync is active, check when it last ran and when the next update is scheduled. Syncs run on the same schedule as your audience refresh — every 24 hours by default. If the Last Sync is recent and the Next Sync is upcoming, the sync may simply not have run yet.
Step 3 — Check your connected account.
The most common cause of a sync stopping is a disconnected Google or Facebook account. Reconnect the account and check if the sync resumes.
Google Sheets — confirm your Google account is still authorized. [Placeholder: confirm the steps to reconnect a Google account in the Sync section]
Facebook Ads — confirm your Facebook ad account is still connected. [Placeholder: confirm the steps to reconnect a Facebook account in the Sync section]

Step 4 — Check the destination.
Google Sheets — confirm the sheet still exists and has not been deleted, renamed, or moved. If the target sheet was deleted, the sync has nowhere to send data.
Facebook Ads — confirm your ad account is active and that the custom audience created by the sync still exists in Ads Manager. If it was deleted, the sync may need to be reconfigured.
Step 5 — Check your audience list.
If your audience list was deleted or significantly changed, the sync may have been affected. Confirm the source audience list is still active in your Audience Lists section.
Step 6 — Contact support.
If the sync status shows an error and none of the above steps resolve it, contact BetterMarketers support with the name of the sync and a description of the issue.
