3.3 Connecting Better SalesBot to GoHighLevel

Better SalesBot runs natively inside GoHighLevel. When you purchase SalesBot Launch, your account is automatically attached to your GHL account — no manual connection is required on your end.

What automatic attachment means:

You do not need to install anything, connect an API, or configure a plugin. Once Launch is purchased, a Better SalesBot tab appears in your GoHighLevel navigation and your account is ready to use.

What you do need to set up inside the platform:

While the account connection is automatic, there are a few things you configure inside the platform to get your assistant live:

• GoHighLevel OAuth — Required to sync your contacts, calendars, and conversations. This is done inside your Better SalesBot account settings. Step-by-step instructions are in the Docs under Integrations.

• A phone number — Required for voice calls. You can buy a number directly inside the platform or import one from Twilio, Telnyx, or Vonage. Instructions are in the Docs under Deploy.

• Active tag — Required for Chat AI. This is a GoHighLevel tag that activates your assistant on a conversation when applied. Instructions are in the Docs under Deploy → Active Tags.

• Calendar connection — Required for appointment booking. Connected through your GoHighLevel calendar settings. Instructions are in the Docs under Infrastructure → Calendar.
