Frequently Asked Questions
How do I download my resolution data?
Go to Integrations → Pixel in your dashboard, select the relevant pixel, and use the CSV export option. Your file will download to your device.
What format is the exported file in?
CSV. You can open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any tool that reads comma-separated files.
What fields are included in the export?
All the fields from your resolution records — personal identity, contact details, consumer profile data, professional and company information, behavioral visit data, and more. See Section 4.2 for the full list.
How often should I download my CSV?
As often as you need to retain your data. Your dashboard shows a rolling 30-day view — resolutions older than 30 days are no longer visible. If you rely on CSV exports for long-term storage, download regularly. A webhook is a better option if you want automatic, continuous capture.
What is a webhook and why would I use one?
A webhook automatically pushes each new resolution to a destination you choose — a CRM, an automation platform, or a custom endpoint — as it happens. It’s the most reliable way to capture all your resolution data long term without manual downloads.
Do I need technical knowledge to set up a webhook?
Basic familiarity with web tools helps. If you’re using a platform like Make.com or Zapier, they provide step-by-step instructions for connecting a webhook. If you’re building a custom endpoint, developer knowledge is needed.
Can I export data that has already rolled off the 30-day view?
No. Once data is no longer visible in the dashboard it cannot be recovered from the export function. This is why setting up a webhook or syncing to Google Sheets (Section 6.1) from the start is recommended for long-term retention.
Who do I contact if my export isn’t working?
Contact BetterMarketers support at https://help.bettermarketers.com/support/tickets/new — do not reach out to the platform vendor directly.
