3.3 Installing the Script on Your Website

The pixel script goes in the <head> section of your website — ideally on every page, not just the homepage. Installing it only on one page means you only capture visitors to that page.

General install steps:

  1. Copy your pixel script from the dashboard (see 3.2).

  2. Open your website’s code editor, CMS, or tag manager.

  3. Paste the script inside the <head> tag — before the closing </head> tag.

  4. Save and publish your changes.

  5. Visit your website in a browser to trigger the pixel.

  6. Return to your dashboard and check the Pixel section to confirm the pixel is showing as active.

Platform-specific notes:

WordPress
The easiest method is a plugin like Insert Headers and Footers. Install the plugin, open its settings, paste the pixel script in the Header section, and save.

Shopify
Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit Code → Open theme.liquid → Paste the script inside the <head> tag → Save.

Wix
Go to Settings → Custom Code → Add Code → Set the location to Head → Paste the script → Apply to All Pages → Save.

Google Tag Manager
Create a new Custom HTML tag → Paste the pixel script → Set the trigger to All Pages → Save and Publish.

Other platforms
Any platform that lets you add custom code to the <head> of your pages will work. The install process follows the same pattern: find the head section, paste the script, save.

The pixel requires your site to be on https and installed on the root domain. A script installed on a subdomain will not resolve visitors to your main domain.
