4.5 Frequently Asked Questions
What actions are available on an audience list?
Refresh, Update, View in Studio, Download CSV, Webhook, Duplicate, and Delete.
What is the difference between Refresh and Update?
Refresh pulls new leads using your existing filters — nothing changes about the list. Update lets you change the filters or intent before pulling leads again.
Does deleting a list delete the leads I already exported?
No. Leads you have already exported or synced are yours and are not affected by deleting the list.
Can I undo a Delete?
No. Deleting a list is permanent. Export your leads before deleting if you want to keep them.
What is Duplicate used for?
Duplicate creates an exact copy of an existing list. Use it to create variations without changing your original list.
What is View in Studio?
Studio lets you filter, segment, and analyze your audience data inside the platform. You can build and save segments for use in campaigns.
How often do audience lists refresh automatically?
Every 24 hours. You can also set a custom schedule per list — every 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
How current is the contact data in my audience?
Emails are verified daily, mailing addresses are updated quarterly against the NCOA database, and behavioral signals are reprocessed weekly.
Do I need to verify emails after exporting?
No. Email verification is handled within the platform daily.
Can I set a custom refresh schedule for a specific list?
Yes. You can set each list to refresh every 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
What happens to my audience data between automatic refreshes?
The audience data stays as it was at the last refresh. You can manually trigger a Refresh at any time if you want the latest data before the next automatic cycle.
Can I have multiple audience lists running at the same time?
Yes. You can create and manage multiple lists simultaneously. Each one has its own filters, actions, and refresh schedule.
Who do I contact if a list action isn't working?
Contact BetterMarketers support. Do not reach out to the platform vendor directly — all support goes through BetterMarketers.
