2.2 Understanding Pixel Credits and Resolutions

Two terms. Two contexts. They refer to the same unit — at different points in the process.

Pixel Credits is what you buy. When you’re on the purchase page choosing a tier, you’re buying Pixel Credits.

Resolutions is what those credits become once they’re on your account. When a visitor is identified and a contact record is created, that’s a Resolution. One credit spent equals one Resolution generated.

Think of it this way: you load your account with Pixel Credits. Each time the pixel resolves an anonymous visitor into a contactable record, one credit is used and one Resolution appears in your dashboard.
