Better Leads provides verified, U.S.-based contact data for outreach purposes. Understanding where the platform's responsibility ends and yours begins is important before you start contacting people from your audiences.

What Better Leads is responsible for:

• Building and maintaining a verified database of U.S. consumer and business profiles.

• Validating contact data continuously — emails verified daily, addresses updated quarterly, behavioral signals reprocessed weekly.

• Aligning data handling with U.S. regulations including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

• Providing accurate, current data at the point of export.

What you are responsible for:

Once you download or sync your leads and begin reaching out, compliance with outreach laws is your responsibility. Better Leads gives you the data — how you use it determines whether your outreach is lawful.

This includes:

• Honoring opt-outs and do-not-contact requests. If someone asks you to stop contacting them, you must stop immediately and remove them from your list.

• Maintaining and respecting a do-not-contact list. Keep a record of anyone who has opted out and make sure they are never contacted again.

• Following TCPA rules for calls and texts. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) governs how you can contact people by phone and SMS. Rules around consent, autodialing, and calling times apply.

• Following CAN-SPAM rules for email. Every promotional email must include a clear way to opt out, your physical address, and honest subject lines. Honor opt-out requests promptly.

• Not contacting people on the National Do Not Call Registry without prior consent.

What Better Leads does not provide:

• Proof of individual opt-in. The data in Better Leads is sourced from verified public and commercial datasets — it does not come with a record that any individual personally opted in to hear from you. You are responsible for running outreach in line with the regulations that apply to your campaigns.

• GDPR coverage. Better Leads is built for U.S.-based outreach. The database covers U.S. consumer and business profiles. Do not use Better Leads data for outreach to contacts in the European Union or other regions with separate data protection laws.
