How your credit travels

You don't need every rule to use the engines. But knowing how credit moves saves you from the most common surprise: sharing something and not seeing it count.

It starts with a visit

When someone opens your page or your link, the visit is recorded and your credit is held for 30 days.

If they sign up in that time, you're recorded as their sponsor. That's the moment that matters most. Signing up is what places someone in your network.
