Framer

What it does

Framer combines a visual, drag-and-drop canvas with real animation and interaction controls closer to a design tool than a typical website builder, plus AI features that can generate a starting site from a prompt. Its free plan has no time limit, unlike most competitors' trial-based free tiers, which matters for a client wanting to test the platform before committing budget.
