What it does

A closer look at Vizard's clipping and subtitle tools

Vizard auto-clips long videos into short-form segments, adds subtitles (with translation), resizes for different platform aspect ratios, and can publish directly to connected social accounts. It also offers transcript export in multiple formats for teams that need the text separately from the video.

The use case is functionally identical to Opus Clip's: a creator or team with a backlog of long-form video (podcasts, streams, interviews) that needs a fast pipeline into short clips for social distribution, rather than a tool for original video creation.

It's a direct Opus Clip competitor and the tradeoff is largely about credit economics — several independent reviews (including ones explicitly framed around a "credit trap") describe the credit-consumption model as less transparent than advertised, with users burning through allotments faster than expected on longer source videos.
