Shopify Collabs lets Shopify merchants invite creators directly, post an open commission offer, or run an application page for creators to request partnership, then handles gifting, unique discount codes, sales attribution, and affiliate payouts inside the Shopify admin. Creators can browse and generate commission links for products from participating brands.
It's used by Shopify merchants, especially DTC brands, who want a lightweight, built-in way to run product seeding and affiliate-style creator partnerships without paying for a separate platform like Grin, Upfluence, or Aspire, since it's bundled with the store they already run.
The tradeoff is that it only works within the Shopify ecosystem and is considerably lighter on discovery, campaign management, and content-library features than dedicated influencer platforms, it's a native convenience tool, not a full influencer marketing suite.
