ManyChat lets a business build automated conversation flows inside Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, TikTok, and SMS. The mechanic most people use it for is comment-to-DM: someone comments a keyword on a post or ad, and ManyChat automatically messages them privately with a link, lead magnet, or offer.
Beyond that trigger, it's a visual flow builder where you can branch based on replies, tag contacts, collect an email or phone number, and hand off to a live inbox when a bot can't answer. It also has broadcast messaging, basic AI-generated replies, and a unified inbox across connected channels.
